ITTIP Summer Camps

ITTIP is pleased to offer three different summer camps this summer!

AFA CyberCamp: The Air Force Association’s (AFA) CyberCamps are designed for high school and middle school students who are just getting into cybersecurity or who have cybersecurity knowledge and want to learn more. Camps are held throughout the country each summer and this ITTIP hosted camp will be held virtually July 19 – 23, 2021 for students entering grades 7 through 12 next year. STEM Camp: These STEM Camps will be a fun week on the Longwood campus filled with learning how to use different technologies related to robotics and coding. Some of the tools we will be using are: Drones, SAM Lab, littleBits Code Kits, iRobot Root Robot, Spheros. Participants will have a chance to explore, code, and problem solve with these tools and more during the week! We will supply the necessary materials. Camps are being held from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm the weeks of June 28 – July 2, 2021 and July 26 – July 30, 2021 for students entering grades 4 through 7 next year. Coding Crafty Circuits: This camp will also be on the Longwood campus and is sure to be a fun week filled with learning how to use Circuit Stickers Code to create paper circuits, as well as Lilypad Arduino to create sewable circuits with conductive thread. Students will be able to make and take their creations home with them at the end of the week. This camp combines robotics and arts to make some fun projects and learn more about coding and circuitry! This is a half-day camp begin held from 12:30 pm – 3:30 pm on July 12 – 16, 2021 for students entering grades 5 through 8 next year. Flyer for more information and registration.
