Hummingbird Robotics for Middle School Students

Funding Amount: $10,000

ITTIP was awarded a Verizon Foundation grant, Hummingbird for Middle School Students, to provide two after school robotics classes for middle school students in the spring and fall. Students from Amelia and Cumberland counties participated in a problem-based learning activity over a course of several weeks and used the Hummingbird Robotics Kits and computer programming to solve a problem or enact an anti-bullying scenario.
