Flying with Finch

Funding Amount: $10,000

This Verizon Foundation grant, Flying with Finch for STEM, was awarded to ITTIP in order to provide a two-day professional development on STEM learning with the Finch Robot for 18 middle and high school teachers beginning in the Summer 2015. The grant also supports the purchasing of Finch robot kits for teachers to borrow and use in their classroom throughout the school year for their students to learn and use.   In addition, ITTIP provided a Saturday workshop in the Fall 2015 for middle school students to learn about the robot.
