VA STEM CoNNECT Summit III

ITTIP at Longwood University is looking for educators and administrators interested in K-12 STEM to attend the VA STEM CoNNECT Summit III, September 30th, 9:00 am – 3:30 pm at Longwood University. There is no cost to attend and learn. Lunch will also be provided.

The summit will have a keynote speaker, Steven W. Anderson, along with various sessions and workshops supporting learning on STEM integration. The morning sessions will focus on strategies for STEM integration in the Mathematics and Science classrooms. Afternoon workshops will be hands-on with participants getting first-hand experiences with STEM activities. Space is limited, so if you are interested sign up by using this link: Survey Monkey

The VA STEM CoNNECT project is a Collaborative Partnership led by ITTIP at Longwood University and also includes George Mason University, James Madison University, Frank Batten College of Engineering of Old Dominion University, The College of William and Mary, Virginia Tech, University of Virginia, MathScience Innovation Center, Virginia Space Grant Consortium, Virginia Mathematics and Science Coalition, Virginia Association of Science Teachers, Virginia Council of Teachers of Mathematics, Southside Virginia Regional Technology Consortium, and 48 school divisions across Virginia. This opportunity is funded through a Mathematics and Science Partnership grant from the Virginia Department of Education.
