Modeling and Simulation II (ModSim II)

Longwood University’s ITTIP has partnered with NASA Langley Research Center to sponsor four days of educational professional development for math and science teachers grades 6-12 in the fundamentals of modeling and simulation. During the professional development, participants will have direct contact with NASA educational specialists, engineers, scientists, and technologists through presentations, demonstrations, site visits, and experiments.

Participation is free and includes the following –

1) Lodging
2) $400 stipend once you develop a lesson aligned with VA Science SOL and NGSS
3) 45 recertification points
