Digispired ii

Starting July 12, Digispired ii: Workforce Inspiration Investigation for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (WiiSTEM) will begin. This program was extended for another three years through a grant from the National Science Foundation. Digispired ii will involve 71 students from Halifax, Mecklenburg, Charlotte, Farmville, Cumberland, Appomattox,Hopewell, Petersburg and the Richmond area. There will be three locations: Virginia State University, Longwood University, and The Southern Virginia Higher Education Center in South Boston, VA. Digispired ii students will be inspired to investigate mathematics, science, and engineering principles behind game controllers and create games using a professional game authoring system.
